"Brazilscapes is an exhibition which brings
together a series of photographs taken by young Brazilians;
photographs that are faithful and sensitive images
of their everyday life."
The exhibition is the result of the initiative of
Etienne Faucher and Clara Low-Décarie two
Montreal students.
We left for the heart of Brazil to share our passion
for photography. In June 2006, inspired by the movie
Born into Brothels, we built a photography workshop
in a school located in the most arid area of this
huge country. These pictures are the reflection of
the difficult reality of thirty-three young teenagers
from the most deprived state of Brazil, the Piaui.

Nous sommes partis au cœur du Brésil
pour y partager notre passion de la photographie.

dans une école située au centre de
la zone la plus aride de cet immense pays.
Ces oeuvres sont le reflet de la réalité difficile
de trente-trois jeunes adolescents de l'état
le plus démuni du Brésil, le Piaui.
